Week of March 29th

Thank you for the donations to our Peep Activities and to our Fun Run!!

Our Class has earned over $100 a lap!

The class has earned Crazy Sock Day which will be on Tuesday, March 30th.  Students can wear crazy socks with their regular school uniforms.  The remaining rewards will be given after Easter Break.

There will be no tests this week.

Reading: The students will be working on Readers Theater plays on Monday, March 29th and presenting to the class on Tuesday, March 30th.

Math: Monday we will be using our math skills to solve the mystery: Case of the Egg Thief.  On Tuesday we will be graphing and using our jelly beans to solve equations.

Religion: We will be learning about Holy Week and Easter

Science/Social Studies: We will conducting Peep Investigations.

Wednesday is our Fun Run! (and an early release day)

Please make sure that students are in their PE uniforms and that they bring a water bottle to school.

Week of March 22nd

St Anastasia Catholic School Rams Fun Run starts this week!

READING: Our story this week is Amazing Animals, which is Lesson 22.

All Students can find the link to the textbook, decodable readers and information on the skills we will be working on throughout the week by opening the slides found on Google Classroom that were shared on Monday, March 22nd.  The slides will be updated with the answers throughout the week.

ESSENTIAL QUESTION: Why do some animals have either spots or stripes?

SKILLS: Drawing Conclusions

GRAMMAR:  Pronouns I and me.

WRITING: We will continue to work on narrative writing ; having a topic sentence and ordering events using first, next and last.

SPELLING: Lesson 22- please make sure that you are working on completing assignments from our March Menu.  Spelling Homework is to be turned in by Friday.

Math: Fact Assessment 16 and Written Assessment 21 will be on Wednesday, March 24th.  We will then be working on Lessons 108 to 112

Science/Social Studies: We will be classifying animals.

Religion: We will be learning Jesus’ Miracles

We will attending mass this Friday at 8:15am.
