Weekend Homework

Dear Parents,

Typically I do not assign homework on Fridays.  I did however assign two activities for your students to complete over the weekend.

Students are being asked to cut out a few pictures from magazines or newspapers showing things that people do or use in the morning, afternoon, evening or night.

The other activity is to collect a variety of leaves that he or she will use to create his or her very own leaf animal.  I sent home a brown paper bag for your child to use to bring the leaves to school on Monday.

Please continue to review the Doubles Facts with your child.  We will be taking the First Fact Assessment on Monday, October 19th.

Have a great weekend!
