READING: Our story this week is Jack and the Wolf , which is Lesson 6.

ESSENTIAL QUESTION: What lessons can we learn from story characters?

SKILLS: Understanding characters and the story message in Fables and Fairy Tales.

GRAMMAR: Identifying and Writing Complete Sentences

WRITING: We will be working on elaboration.

PHONICS: Short a, Double Final Consonants  and ck ending.

SPELLING: please make sure that you are working on completing assignments from our October Menu.  Spelling Homework is to be turned in by Friday.

Math: Lessons # 30-34.  On Monday students will complete the 5th Written Assessment.

Science/Social Studies: We will be reading Scholastic News “Smile, It’s Autumn” and using our observation skills.

Religion: We will be learning about How Jesus is our Shepherd.

We will attending mass this Friday at 8:15 am.
