Week of April 12th

READING: Our story this week is A Tree Is a Plant, which is Lesson 24.

All Students can find the link to the textbook, decodable readers and information on the skills we will be working on throughout the week by opening the slides found on Google Classroom that were shared on Monday, April 12th.  The slides will be updated with the answers throughout the week.

ESSENTIAL QUESTION: What happens to a tree as it grows?

SKILLS: Sequence of Events

GRAMMAR:  indefinite pronouns

WRITING: We will continue to work on narrative writing ;adding details.

PHONICS: Words with Vowel Digraphs / oo / spelled with oo, ou, ew.

SPELLING: Lesson 24- please make sure that you are working on completing assignments from our April Menu.  Spelling Homework is to be turned in by Friday.

Math: Fact Assessment 18 and Written Assessment 23 will be on Wednesday, April 14th.  We will then be working on Lessons 118 to 122.

Science/Social Studies: We will be learning about trees.

Religion: We will be learning the about how and why Jesus began the Catholic Church.

We will attending mass this Friday at 8:15am.

Announcements: Please do not forget a healthy morning snack and a water bottle.
